Birkenstock BLUE FOOTBED TRADITION Normal 010001 Insoles

Birkenstock BLUE FOOTBED TRADITION Normal 1001156 Orthopedic Insoles

The Blue Footbed uses the principle of barefoot walking. It's based on the impression left by a healthy foot in the sand, creating a natural environment for your feet. The heel area is cushioned and stabilized thanks to the raised design. This also supports the foot's natural arch. The blue footbed is therefore ideal for anyone who wants to enjoy the unique comfort of BIRKENSTOCK in closed shoes from other brands too.

  • Anatomically shaped footbed
  • Regular width
  • Excellent heel stabilization
  • Optimum cushioning
  • For traditional business and leisure shoes with a slight heel

COMFORTABLE FEET IN EVERY SHOE

With the blue® flexible footbed, you can also enjoy BIRKENSTOCK comfort in many different shoes. As many people with the same shoe size often have toes of different lengths, the blue® flexible footbed has a length of three quarters. This ensures an optimum fit, without having to take into account the length of the forefoot and the shape of the toe cap. Shoe size may differ from footbed size.

Very thin, flexible edges make them comfortable to wear and adapt to the shape of any shoe.
The heel cup surrounds the foot naturally, supporting the heel and ensuring good shock absorption.
The arch under the heel, longitudinal arch support and lateral support relieve pressure and guide the foot to its natural shape.
Precisely shaped cups support the longitudinal arch and support the whole foot.
On a hard, flat surface, the foot only touches the ground with the heel and ball. That's a lot of pressure on a small surface. With the blue sole®, the foot has a larger impact surface. Weight is distributed more evenly, so pressure on a given point is lower.

The natural footprint on soft ground.
The entire surface of the foot touches the ground. The arch in the middle of the foot is supported.
The foot on a hard, flat surface.
The foot is in contact only at the front and back. The central arch is not supported and sinks.
Foot with blue® sole.
The flattening foot is returned to its naturally arched shape. A greater surface area of the foot touches the ground. Pressure on the forefoot is relieved.
